Nollywood actress Angela Okorie is starting the new month of July with a letter to the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, she reassured them and the Nigerian public of her unwavering respect and high regard for them. She stated that she would never, under any circumstances, disrespect the Force.
Angela recalled how, when she was shot and attacked in 2019, they rescued her and still conducted a professional investigation into the matter. Angela said that since then, her love and support from the force have been overwhelming and unforgettable.
Okorie appreciated the police force for the invite last week, as she promised to keep promoting their image and integrity.

Kemi Filani reported days back that News made rounds that Mercy Johnson, who she has been attacking, had filed a petition against Angela. According to reports, sources claim the petition stems from repeated online attacks by Okorie on Mercy, including unverified allegations in June accusing Johnson of “spiritual wrongdoing”.
Movie producer Stanley Ontop added fuel to the fire by suggesting Johnson collaborated with high-profile figures to initiate a legal crackdown.
In an Instagram live, Angela, however, set the record straight. She made it known that she wasn’t arrested. The actress revealed that she was invited for questioning and went there. Angela didn’t disclose further about the outcome of the event.
For the past year, Angela has been launching attacks on Mercy Johnson over undisclosed reasons.
Resuming her beef with her this year, Okorie, in an Instagram live, said she has forgiven the mother of four because she learnt she was seriously sick. Angela, however, advised Johnson to seek forgiveness from people she had wronged and should stop using church words that don’t represent her.
Debunking her claims via her Instagram story, Regina Daniels stated that Angela was mad as she admonished Mercy not to forgive.
