Nollywood actor Ayo Olaiya has called on the government and the family of late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad, to hasten the investigation.
Taking to his Instagram page, Ayo noted how Imole’s life while he was alive and the events that followed after he separated the sinful world showed that he was born to rule the world.
The Yoruba actor urged his family and government to hasten the investigation and do what is necessary. He stated that the late singer deserves a proper rest.

To all the parties concerned: family and government, please hasten your investigation and do the needful. Let the dead rest. Mohbad deserves a proper rest. Rest on legend

Refreshing your memory, Mohbad, a former signee of Naira Marley’s record label, tragically passed away at 27 under unclear circumstances on September 12, 2023.
At the Headies award ceremony, Wunmi had given a speech as the the late singer won the Best Street Music (Street Hop Artiste) of the Year award and the Viewer’s Choice for his song, ‘Egwu,’ with Chike. Wunmi said she doesn’t refer to him as her late husband because he lives forever, especially through their son, Liam. The mother of one expressed gratitude to the organisers of the awards for honouring her husband’s memory and legacy.
In September, Omowumi marked the one-year remembrance of her husband. In an emotional tribute, she described his death as an unbearable pain, as she expressed how much she missed him and how he left her and their son, Liam, in this cold world. She added that since his death, he had been so hard and she doesn’t know how to survive, but it also shaped her life.
