It is a surreal moment for fast-rising Nigerian singer, Ayra Starr as she links up with her role model, Rihanna.
The Mavins singer had attended the launch of Fenty in London and had run into the American singer who doubles as the CEO of Fenty. In videos online, Ayra Starr couldn’t believe her eyes as she met with the mother of two, whom she hugged and pecked as they posed for the camera.

It seems like Ayra Starr has been doing lots of linkups lately as just a few days back, she had linked up with her colleague, Tems. Ayra had posted a video of herself singing one of her songs alongside Tems, and it literally broke the internet. The random link-up was not something that couldâve been easily foreseen, and netizens were beyond pleased to see both of them together.
Also, Ayra Starr had linked up with American actor, Jaden Smith. The two set the internet on fire with a video of them vibing to her song, Comma.
Ayra Starr took to her social media, Instagram to be precise to share the adorable video of her and Jaden dancing and mouthing to the lyrics of her latest single âCommaâ as it blared loudly.
Back in September 2023, Ayra had declined to accept an award during the Headies award ceremony, because it wasn’t announced on stage. In response, she publicly refused to accept the award, stating that she would not show gratitude for an honor that was not deemed worthy of being announced on the main stage.
Ayra Starr highlighted the disparity between her treatment and that of male artists, who received on-stage recognition.
