Nigerian award-winning singer Ayra Starr is undoubtedly making big moves in America as she links up again with her idol and American singer Rihanna.
The Afrobeat singer was among the few celebrities at the Crop Festival in Barbados, which is Rihanna’s hometown. The festival, which is one of the rich cultures of the Caribbean, is a 3-month-long festival of Barbadian music, arts, food, culture, and more. Since its inception in 1974, it has become a yearly event aimed at attracting tourists to the Island and keeping the local folks’ culture alive.
The festival usually kicks off in June and runs until the first Monday in August, with a brand carnival parade known as Kadooment Day, considered the biggest Caribbean carnival.
In videos making rounds on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter now known as X, Ayra Starr was captured hanging out with the Billionaire businesswoman and singer dressed in their Festival costume.

Kemi Filani reported in April that the Mavins singer had met the billionaire singer at the launch of her Fenty business in London. Ayra, who was star-struck, couldn’t believe her eyes as she met with the mother of two, whom she hugged and pecked as they posed for the camera.
Recounting their meet-up, Ayra said she never knew Rihanna was real until she saw her and stressed that she didn’t know Rihanna was a human being like her. She went on to shower encomium on Rihanna and disclosed that the billionaire singer gave her career advice, which she would keep to herself.
