Award-winning Nigerian comedian Basketmouth has thrown a subtle shade at music star, Wizkid over his comment on Davido’s wedding.
Kemi Filani reported that Wizkid had shaded his rival Davido, and his wife-to-be, Chioma Rowland. He took to his Twitter handle to offer a prayer for understanding women on earth. He made them know that he loves them all.
His statement didn’t sit well with many as they noted the hypocrisy at which his girlfriend abd manager, Jada Pollock is also an understanding woman.
Reacting to it, Basketmouth noted how Davido’s wedding has taken over the social media space, to the extent that no one cared about Wizkid’s shady post. He stated that nobody send the music star.
“Davido’s wedding has taken over the social media space. Except you want us to start using Chivido2024 to promote the show.
Which I don’t think will work. Because, even Wizkid wey throw shade. Nobody send am”.

Similarly, actress, Didi Ekanem had slammed Wizkid over his statement. She stated that the prayer is perfect for his woman, Jada Pollock because she needed it more as she called the singer childish.
Ubi Franklin’s babymama, Sandra Iheuwa noted the irony at which he was shading Davido for something he is also guilty of.
For some months now, Davido and Wizkid have been at each other throats after Wizkid made controversial tweets that irked Davido’s followers. The duo went low as using their private life to make comebacks against each other. Davido spoke about how Wizkid domestically abused his girlfriend and baby mama, Jada Pollock, while Wizkid taunted him for begging for s#x from one of his multiple side chicks.
Also, Wizkid taunted Davido when the latter launched a meme coin, as he urged his fans to work smart so as not to hustle like a fool.
