Big Brother Naija ‘Shine ya eyes’ former housemate, Queen Mercy Atang has cried out over the toxicity on the internet.
The reality star, has received a mean comment on her recent post slamming her for getting offended over questions about her husband and her marriage, which is reportedly on the rocks. Reacting to it, in a now-deleted post, Queen noted how this internet is vile, as she has read so much about herself.
Addressing claims of shading an alleged Sophia, Queen noted that she doesn’t remember doing such as she always minds her business and focuses on her hustle. She stated that she rarely defends herself on social media no matter how bad.
The single mother noted how it has always been her desire to be famous and rich, and now the fame is landing her in trouble.
“On this internet. I’ve read so much about myself. All I can say is this space is vile. I can’t even recall throwing a shade at anyone. I mind my business and hustle. I don’t even defend myself in this space, no matter how bad. I have seen real life from fans on the internet. My DM is filled with amazing and lovely comments from y’all. I can’t wait to share them all. And I’ve also read vile comments, and sometimes I do ask myself, Queen, is this you or someone else? God help me. All I’ve always prayed for is to be famous and rich. Fame I’ve, money I’m hustling up to get it. But it may seem as tho the game is landing me in trouble here and there. God help me”.

In October, news circulated online that Queen’s 7-month marriage was on the rock. Kemi Filani noticed that the reality star had unfollowed her husband on Instagram and had deleted all photos of him. To make it worse, she had removed his name from her Instagram bio.
In what seemed like a reaction to the breakup rumors, Queen shared photos of herself living her best life as she made it known that she is focusing on self-branding, losing the fats accumulated as a mother, and enjoying as a baby girl. She noted that 2024 is about building her brand while 2025 is for her to relax and enjoy being a baby girl
