Nollywood actress Bimbo Afolayan is celebrating her daughter, Aliyah, as she turns 12.
Sharing stunning photos of the celebrant, she penned a lengthy post noting how her daughter came into her life and made it infinitely better.
Praising her mini-me for being very intelligent, caring, and adorable, she revealed that she stared at her daughter’s birthday shoot photos for hours, in awe of God’s gift to her.
The wife of Okiki Afolayan went on to shower prayers on her daughter as she appreciated those sending gifts to her daughter.
“Twelve years ago, you came into my life and made it infinitely better. Happy birthday, my love!”

In May, Bimbo and her husband, Okiki, were overjoyed as Aliyah returned home for summer break. Okiki described Aliyah as their sweet angel and heartbeat. He expressed how amazing it is that her presence lights everything up and brings warmth through her smiles. The filmmaker stated that he and his wife plan to enjoy every moment of being with each other.
When Aliyah turned 10 in 2023, Bimbo reflected on her labour experience. She noted how 10 years back, she was in the labour room screaming and shouting, and now, her daughter was hitting two digits.
In another post, Bimbo penned an emotional note to her, describing her daughter as a true blessing. She noted how a decade ago, her daughter came into the world and brought so much joy and love with her.
