In celebration of her daughter, Princess Amida’s birthday, Nollywood actress, Bimpe Akintunde has recounted how her daughter left her teary-eyed with her request for a father figure.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, Bimpe narrated how her daughter would constantly tell her to get married and would always tell her aunty, (Bimpe’s sister) of her desire to have a father figure.
Bimpe revealed that she was devastated by her statement and would cry, complain and lament as all her efforts were proving abortive.
The Yoruba star added that her daughter would constantly pester her for younger siblings and her response was for her daughter to pray to God.
Fast forward to now, her daughter already has a father figure in her husband and she is grateful for their bond.

“Dear Daughter, I want to specifically congratulate you as Almighty choose to answer your request and prayers… Do you know that @iamprincessamida knew I do not have a husband? Precisely when she was 5 years old, she said n I quote ‘Only you will be sleeping in this Everyday!! You don’t have a husband!! Go and Marry O’ on this day, I cried!!! Same time she told my sister in love n assuming I have a father now!!! I was devastated!!! I cried, complained, and lamented that after all I am trying my best for her, as she continue to grow she keeps asking for siblings.
Every time she complains that is bored and needs younger ones to play with. I told her to pray to God to send me A Good husband. It was really hard on me!!! But I kept going, working, praying, and hoping God to send us a good man!!! And the Lord answered our prayer and sent us A REAL Life King HRM OBA YOUSUPH OLAWALE AKANNI GANIYU (OBA MINNESOTA USA). Their bond is admirable, @iamprincessamida is just like me, she gets used to ppls easily but I respect her Spirit because once you Hurt me, Sweetie will not even remember you nor ask after you.
As much as I am Happy am sure my daughter is more happier with this Special Gift from Almighty. Allah.

Tears of joy as Bimpe Akintunde ties the knot to her longtime admirer
Kemi Filani reported on Sunday morning, last week that after 2 years of being single, Bimpe Akintunde had tied the knot.
The Yoruba star announced the news of her engagement on her Instagram page.
Sharing photos of her engagement ring, Bimpe revealed that she said ‘YES’ to her long-time admirer, lover of her craft, and long-time man.
She disclosed that her lover has been in love with her long before she met him and she feels so blessed to have met him.
Bimpe Akintunde held her first leg to forever with her lover, Yousuph O Ganiyu.
The couple tied the knot in a Nikai ceremony on Sunday, June 25th.
Sharing photos from their wedding ceremony, Bimpe expressed gratitude to God for a successful Nikai.
