Nollywood actor Damola Olatunji has dropped a bombshell revelation about his personal life.
The movie star, who keeps his life private, in an interview with his colleague, Biola Bayo, for her show Talk To B, recounted how his ex-fiance got pregnant for someone else weeks before his introduction, which left him heartbroken.
Speaking on his crashed relationship with his colleague and mother of his kids, Bukola Arugba, he noted how people spread false information about him, accusing him of leaving his marriage, abandoning his house and all. He said he can never abandon his kids as he has been paying their school fees since the separation. He stated that his twins always declare him the best dad in the world.
Hinting at what led to their crashed marriage, he noted how feelings die, and love fades as he admonished couples to go their separate ways if the relationship isn’t working, than to become violent. Olatunji further admonished divorced parents not to bash each other on social media as it could backfire on them when the kids grow up.
He shockingly revealed that he gets advances from both gënders and admitted that he isn’t a saint.
“My fiance got pregnant for someone else, weeks to my introduction.
As a matter of fact, “this will be the first time anybody will say I’m talking about my divorce. Some said Damola left his marriage, Damola left the house, and I will be like, these are my kids.
Feelings die, and love fades. If things are not working in a relationship, it’s better to go separate ways than to become physical. Couples that have kids together should not come online and fight dirty. Your kids will grow up one day to read about the things you have said. I am not a deadbeat father. Despite our separation, I still pay my kids’ school fees and attend to their needs. My kids will tell you, ‘My dad is the best in the world. They can never lack as long as I am alive. When you have kids with someone, something will always bring you together for life.
I get toasted the way ladies get toasted. Both from male and female. Hey, listen, I am not a saint, but I will not do what I will not do”.
Refreshing your memory, Damola and Bukola broke up last year after years of dating and two kids. Bukola Arugba had announced their separation, issuing a PSA where she revealed that, contrary to reports, she was never married to the actor.
Though the statement didn’t disclose the reason for the separation, it stated that the separation is without any hard feelings or ill will, and the couple’s main focus and priority is their twins.
Damola, unbothered by the separation, took to his Instagram page to celebrate, sharing a video of himself enjoying life. In another post, he shared a dapper photo of himself; in his hashtag, he described himself as a grace carrier and a man without worries.
