Nigerian music star Davido and his first babymama Sophia Momodu are trending online as they reunite for their daughter.
Kemi Filani reported last month that Imade had turned 10, and to celebrate her birthday, Sophia threw a forest-themed party for her on Sunday, June 1st.
For the first time in two years, Davido had showed up for the party with his family members and 30bg. In one of the clips from the event, Sophia and Davido were captured posing with Imade and her birthday cake.
Many social media users noted that the former couple maintained social distance at the party.

Kemi Filani reported last week that Davido announced that he had finally reunited with his mini-me as he shared photos of him with Imade. The music star declared it the best day of his life.
In a viral clip, Imade was captured checking out her father’s new Cyber Truck, which he took delivery of last week. In the clip, Imade was sitting in the driver’s seat as she tried out the controls and savoured the push interior of the car. Davido, who was ecstatic, stood by and watched his daughter quietly explore the futuristic car.
Davido and Sophia are currently in a bitter custody battle. In June, last year, Davido filed a lawsuit, demanding joint custody of Imade as he claimed Sophia was denying him access to her and was extorting money from him, which she denied. A week later, she had opposed his joint custody battle, citing the death of his son, among others, as reasons the singer is unfit to raise their daughter on his own.
Recall that things turned sour between Davido and Sophia after the singer publicly declared love for his now wife, Chioma Rowland, and reunited with her. This left Sophia infuriated, and she shared a post about a cat not taking rubbish from a dog. She later went on an extensive rant, accusing him of financially abusing her.
