Social media users are reacting to a trending video of award-winning music star Davido attending a church service with his father in Surulere, Lagos.
In videos making rounds on the micro-blogging platform Twitter, now known as X, Davido was spotted as a white native standing beside his Billionaire father as they praised God. According to reports online, father and son, alongside his uncle Governor Adeleke, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, and Lagos State Governor Sanwo-Olu, attended Thanksgiving service at C&S Headquarters in memory of Late Nnena Esther Adeleke.
The music star was also spotted with popular clergywoman Reverend Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi. In one of the clips, Davido’s father told the cameraman to focus on other dignitaries in attendance.

Davido undoubtedly shares a close bond with his father. In October last year, Davido had recounted how his father once used his power to hinder his progress in the music industry because he wanted him to graduate first before pursuing his career ambition.
His cousin, B-Red had also narrated how he sold 20TVs from the singer’s father’s house to raise money. He narrated how Don Jazzy had offered to help them with a condition, which led them to sell out Davido’s father’s Televisions in a desperate attempt to raise money.
In 2022, Davido had penned a heartfelt note to his father, recounting his impact on his life. He credited him for teaching him humility, hard work, and life principles, attesting that his father was the one who taught him that wealth shouldn’t change one’s personality.
