Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, better known by her stage name, DJ Cuppy, has announced that she is no longer searching for new friends.
Taking to her Instagram page, the disc jockey who lost her maternal grandmother early this week, shared photos of her mother, sisters and boxer, Anthony Joshua, from her burial ceremony in their hometown. Cuppy described them as her inner circles and trībe. She made it known that she wasn’t looking for any more friends.

“Meet my inner circle. The four people in these photos are MY tribe. I can’t even lie- I am not looking for any more friends”.

Kemi Filani reported on Tuesday Cuppy announced the death of her maternal grandmother, who was aged 90. Sharing the heartbreaking news on her Instagram story, Cuppy prayed for her soul to rest in peace as she noted how her grandmother was the one who shaped her mother, who in turn made her who she is today. Cuppy stated that her grandmother was a force to be reckoned with and had lived a life.
She later penned an appreciation post to the public for their love and support. She stated that as a Christian, she finds comfort in knowing that there is life after death.

In other news, DJ Cuppy sent a quick PSA to Nigerians as she cried out over being misunderstood. She expressed that Nigerians do not understand her personality and her humour. She also longed for people to understand her for who she was one day.
In a better news, Femi Otedola had hailed his daughter, DJ Cuppy, after she became an Ambassador of King Charles Trust International. Her proud father praised her for representing Africa as he noted how she was going places.
