Nigerian disc jockey DJ Cuppy has commented on the death of former President Buhari.
On her Instagram story, she expressed joy at his demise, describing it as the sweet reality of the inevitability. Telling him to rest in peace, she stated that one is down.
“Wow! The sweet reality of inevitability.
RIP MF
One down”.

Her post didn’t sit well with some netizens, and while addressing them in her Instagram video, she questioned what Buhari did for Nigeria apart from destroying the country. She stated that when one is a bad leader, people will drink to their demise, but when one leads with fairness, people will mourn when they die.
“Please tell me what is Buhari’s achievement apart from destroying Nigeria. When you are a bad leader, people will drink to your demise, but when you lead with fairness, people will mourn when you die”.

She had also slammed the clergyman over his expression of hope in Bola Ahmed Tinubu to fix and rebuild Nigeria with the help of God.
She slammed him for his silence during the election period when Nigerians needed it the most while noting how he had stayed mute when âhis friendsâ were mounting injustices and oppressing the citizens but has suddenly found his voice and wants the president-elect to fix the country.
The DJ had bragged about roasting renowned Nigerian novelist and playwright, Wole Soyinka, for his bigotry and myopic thinking. She recounted how at the event, they all got talking about African writers, and of course, Nigeriaâs contribution, and when given the floor to air her thoughts, she didnât hesitate to roast him.
