Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eyes housemate Queen Mercy Atang has been left emotional as she returns to Nigeria.
The reality star, who has been in the UK for over two months with her husband, David Oyekanmi, shared a video of her and her husband at the airport, as they bade each other goodbye. Queen revealed that she got so caught up in love that she missed her first flight back to Lagos.
The reality star said she has mixed feelings about it as she is happy to see her daughter and siblings, but she knows she will miss her husband. However, she is assured that they will reunite in a few weeks.
“That’s how love had me caught up. I ended up missing my first flight back to Lagos. I had mixed feelings, happy to spend an extra day with my boo, but sad because my daughter and siblings were already expecting me.
One last round of kisses and hugs until we see each other again in a few weeks, my love. I love you, Daddy”.
Kemi Filani reported that during the festive period, Queen had shut down separation rumors her she reunited with her husband in the UK for Christmas. Proven that she and her husband are still waxing strong, Queen shared photos of her traveling as she revealed that she was back to wifey duties.
Her husband, King David, also proved that all was well between them as he welcomed her home and promised to spoil her.
Recall that in October, barely 7 months after their wedding, news circulated online that Queen’s 7-month marriage was on the rock. Kemi Filani noticed that the reality star had unfollowed her husband on Instagram and had deleted all photos of him. To make it worse, she had removed his name from her Instagram bio.
The reality star tied the knot in March to David Oyekanmi. Queen held her wedding introduction in her hometown in Akwa Ibom, which had in attendance some of her colleagues like Nini Singh.
Days after the introduction, the reality star and her man, David legally tied the knot. The civil wedding was held at the Federal Marriage Registry, Lagos with friends, family, and close ones of the couple in attendance.
