Nigerian beauty influencer and businesswoman Laura Ikeji has stirred reactions with her family photos.
The younger sister of Linda Ikeji, via her Instagram page, shared a video of her and her kids as they wished her millions of followers a Merry Christmas. Noticeably missing from the family photoshoot was her husband, Ogbonna Kanu.
In her caption, Laura penned a heartfelt note to God as she described herself as a lucky woman and noted how she doesn’t deserve God’s blessings. Laura went on to thank God for her life and that of her kids, but failed to mention her husband.

Via her comment section, a fan identified as Mayer Pee questioned why she didn’t thank God for her husband.
The fan wrote, “Why you not thank God for your husband. Nowadays, e no easy finding husband”.
Unlike the fan, others flooded her comment section gushing over the adorable family video.
Recall that Laura and Ogbonna tied the knot in holy matrimony at a traditional wedding that took place in her home town in Nkwerre LGA, of Imo state, in January, 217.
In 2022, Laura had celebrated Christmas without her husband. While sharing photos from the family’s yearly Christmas shoot, she revealed that this would mark her first Christmas without her husband who was overseas working. She, however, hoped that next year, it would be a complete family.
On an episode of The Real Housewives of Lagos, Laura caused a stir online as she revealed that her husband cheated on her with her best friend. However, this was when they were still dating.
We are such there is no cause for alarm as just recently, Laura shared some insights on what it feels like to be a parent taking care of a little baby. She revealed that her and her husband , do not sleep until 3-4am every single day because they both take turns in caring for their new baby. She also further questioned how he was still able to get up every morning to go to the gym, despite sleeping so late. In her words, she stated,

While sharing photos of her and her footballer husband, she stated that she is loyal to her husband, siblings, kids, and friends. For her, no matter what happens, she is standing with her close circles till they tell her to leave. She added that there was nothing worse than talking negatively about one to people who hate them.
The mother of three had also given some candid advice to women dealing with cheating husbands, and her take on the matter raised a lot of eyebrows. According to Ikeji, there’s no need to leave your husband just because he cheated, but you can vent your anger by cussing him out.
