After the nomination list for the 2022 Headies award was revealed, angry fans of ace music star, Kizz Daniel have called out the award organizers for nominating the singer under only one category.
Kemi Filani news reported that Ayo Animashaun on 22nd May 2022, announced via his private Twitter account that the nomination list for the 2022 15th Headies awards will be released on Tuesday 24th May 2022. The announcement had fans guessing which of the numerous materials released in the year in view will make the nomination list.
After its release, it was revealed that Nigerian King of Afrobeats, Wizkid, Ayra Starr, Davido, Kizz Daniel all bag nominations for the Best Afrobeats Album category.
For the Best Male Artiste’ Award, Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy, all bagged nominations.
Wizkid alone got 10 nominations for the awards.
Unlike Wizkid and other top singers, Kizz Daniel got nominated in just one category and this has caused fans to call out the organizers for underrating him.

Wizkid has been nominated for the best male artist, artiste of the year, African artiste of the year, best Afrobeats album, album of the year, song of the year, best collaboration, best recording, best R & B single, and Viewers Choice.
His fourth album, Made In Lagos and his hit single Essence which features Tems won him the 10 nominations.
As always, his fans flooded social media with accolades for being exceptional.
