Nigerian singers, Wikzid and Davido have been in the news since this month as fans and lovers of the singers trade words with each other.
Following Wizkid’s loss at the Grammy, Davido’s ex signee, Yonda threw a jibe at Wizkid.
Taking to his Twitter page, he mocked Wizkid as he pointed out that the Grammy isn’t for corny songs or albums.
He added that his song was only overhyped.
He tweeted, “The @RecordingAcad isn’t for corny songs or albums! Reg hype for what it is”.
Reacting to his tweet, Wizkid’s associate, Royof Destiny floored the ex signee for dragging his boss.
Clapping back, he wondered how Yonda would drag a Grammy winner for someone who hasn’t won a headies.
He wrote, “Dragging a Grammy award winner for it winning another Grammy is wild bro lol e come v person wey Neva even win headies”.
Kemi Filani news recalls Bobo Ajudua better known as Prince, the legal practitioner for popular singer, Davido had surprised many as he pitched tent with Wizkid.
The lawyer questioned how Angelique Kidjo song, ‘Mother Nature’ beats Wizkid’s Essence to win the Best Global Music Album.
Giving his two cents, Davido’s lawyer took to his Twitter page to console the singer.
He stated that Wizkid deserved to win as his song gave the world a national anthem.
He tweeted, “I don’t know much, and don’t speak much on these things, but we ALL KNOW that award belonged to ‘Essence’. They gave the world an ANTHEM”.
