“Aren’t you the one who voted for him?” – Fans slam Saidi Balogun as he laments over the current state of the country; he reacts

Saidi Balogun price control

Fans of Nollywood actor Saidi Balogun have slammed him for crying out over the current state of things in the country.

Kemi Filani reported that Saidi had cried out over the economic hardship and situation in the country. The Yoruba actor questioned if there was no functional price control or price regulatory agency in Nigeria. He further questioned how they can cushion the effects of inflation.

The actor noted how things are getting out of hand.

His statement didn’t sit well with many of his fans, who noted how he was part of those who campaigned for the President.

One Justice Oso questioned if the economic hardship got to his side, too, as he stated that he thought the masses were the only ones suffering.

“Waoooo he don reach una side too? I think say na only we the masses the thing dey affect o”.

Replying to him, Saidi made him know that the rain falls on everyone regardless of status. He stated that because he has an umbrella does not mean he doesn’t see the effect of the rain.

He wrote, “The rain falls on everyone, sir, regardless of status. Because I probably have an umbrella does not mean I don’t see the effect of the rain”.

Another fan had questioned if the actor truly cared about the state of things in the country. He wrote, “As if he cares”.

He made the fan know that he cared, but he knew the fan didn’t know that because he already had such a mindset. He hopes God answers his prayers.

“Of course, I care. But you would never know that because you already have your mindset. May God answer our prayers”.

Fans slam Saidi Balogun for lamenting over economic hardship

A few days back, Lizzy Gold had noted how the price of a new petrol pump was now N1000 for a litre and foodstuffs in the market are extremely expensive.

Questioning how people were surviving, she noted how many were hungry and dying, and there was insecurity everywhere with a daily increase of kidnappings. Making a passionate appeal to the President, she urged him to do something as she noted how the citizens look up to him.

Weeks back, Destiny Etiko had applauded Nigerians for their patience amid the economic hardship. In the wake of the protest in Kenya, she noted how, despite the situation in the country, we still wake up with smiles on our faces, pushing every day. She crowned Nigerians as the most patient country in the world and declared the citizens the VIPs.

Similarly, talent manager Paulo Okoye had also declared Nigerians as one of the most patient countries in the world. He noted that amid the hardship in the country, citizens wake up daily with smiles on their faces, still pushing it. Declaring Nigerians VIPs, he noted how the government take advantage of our patience.
