Delta State Governor’s aide Ossai Ovie Success has slammed legendary singer 2baba over his separation announcement from wife, Annie Idibia.
Kemi Filani reported on Sunday evening that 2baba, via his Instagram page, had announced his separation from Annie. He revealed that he and Annie have been separated for a while and are on the verge of divorce. He promised to grant a press release to share his side of the story.
The singer, in a follow-up post, claimed that his account was hacked and the post wasn’t true. Surprisingly, he made another U-turn as he shared videos of himself admitting to their crashed marriage.
Weighing into it, Ossai slammed him over his insensitive post as he noted how Annie recently lost twins and was suffering intense backlash for her portrayal on Young, Famous, and African reality show.
He stated that the singer should have waited for a more opportune time before announcing their separation.
“It’s the wrong timing for 2face to announce his marriage breakup.
Just last year, Annie suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage while expecting twins.
The past few weeks and months have been hell for Annie Idibia, considering the intense backlash she has faced online.
If 2face was serious about announcing their separation, he should have waited for a more opportune time.

Last week, Kemi Filani reported that on an episode of Young Famous and African reality show, Annie had emotionally opened up about losing twins. While speaking to one of her co-stars, she revealed that she suffered a miscarriage while pregnant with twins one year ago. Describing 2024 as a really hard year, she stated that this was the reason she wasn’t showing up so much on the show and attending events.
Also on the show, Mrs Idibia had sparked social media conversation over her bizarre behavior. In the clip, the actress was captured facetiming her legendary singer husband, 2baba as she revealed her desire to return home. She begged the singer to allow her to come back as she noted how her relationship with her co-reality star, Zaria Hassan, was getting worse.
Ossai Success has become popular on social media over the year for his love for criticizing celebrities and their spouse. The former aide has criticized actor Charles Okocha’s wife, Moses Bliss, Theophilus Sunday, Davido, Paul Okoye and others.
