Ify Okoye, the wife of the manager of the famous music group Psquare, Jude Okoye, has concurred with Nollywood actor Yul Edochie as he weighs into their family drama.
Kemi Filani reported that Yul had addressed those clamouring for Psquare to reunite, letting them know that sometimes real peace comes from staying apart. He stated that sometimes one’s family members must be blocked to achieve peace, and one has to relate with people from a distance to have peace. Edochie added that trying to close will kill you.
The talented actor added that though it is good to see Psquare together, if they have to stay apart to be happy and alive, it is best to be apart.
Surprisingly, Ify Okoye took to the comment section to concur with him as she appreciated his statement.
She wrote, “Thank you, Mr Yul”.
It is no longer news that Psquare has fallen out again because of the joint funds being diverted by their elder brother, Jude Okoye.
In an interview, he opened up on his relationship with his twin brother, recounting how Peter got him and their older brother, Jude Okoye, arrested by the commission in December 2023. Luckily for him, after a thorough investigation conducted by the commission, he was declared innocent of all the allegations levelled against him.
Addressing Paul’s interview on Monday, Peter debunked the claims as he stated that he only filed a petition with the commission against their elder brother after discovering he was diverting their money into a secret account which he shared with his wife. He made it known that he never called for the arrest of his twin brother.
Unlike Yul, many celebrities who have weighed into it are hoping for the brothers to reconcile. Media personality, Do2dtun noted how no family is what it seems from the outside as he questioned why people can’t just love them for what they created and not the mistakes or decisions they made.
Talent manager Paulo Okoye had called for love to lead as he expressed sadness over their split, noting how there is nothing to this life.
Activist Very Dark Man expressed how emotional he was as he hoped that someday the brothers would settle as he noted how they are one and not two.
