Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has shared more details about her daughter Priscilla’s upcoming wedding.
Kemi Filani reported late last year that the actress’ daughter is set to tie the knot this year to Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux.
In an interview with Biola Bayo, Iyabo expressed excitement at her daughter’s upcoming ready as she noted how she has always stabbed her daughter to get married early so she can have kids at an early age and be able to handle the pressures of babies.
Iyabo praised her son-in-law, who she stated is good for her daughter as he is intentional and big about family and has love in his heart. Iyabo states that she will be announcing their wedding details in January as she disclosed that they have done private things and are having the public soon. Iyabo added that the Traditional and Church wedding would be in Nigeria while there would be another wedding in Tanzania.
“I was so excited when Priscilla told me about her man because I always wanted her to get married early. It is good to have kids early. You have the energy to handle the pressure of babies when you are young. Juma is very good for my daughter because he is intentional and big about family and he has love in his heart. Their wedding is a few months away. I will be announcing it in January. We have done the private and we are having the public soon. Traditional and church weddings will be in Nigeria, while we will have another wedding in Tanzania”.
Recall that in March, Iyabo revealed her desire for Priscilla to follow her footstep by getting married at a young age and having kids. The mother of two stated that Priscilla always avoids questions about marriage, but she isn’t the type to put her child under pressure.
Luckily for her, her desire came to pass as in August, Priscilla brought the Tanzanian singer to Nigeria for his birthday, where she and her family sweetly welcomed him. Her actress mother had ushered him into the Ojo family, noting how extra was their middle name, as she declared her love for him.
Speaking on her daughter’s engagement, Iyabo affirmed that there is power in the tongue as she noted how she has always been declaring that she wants her daughter to get married early. Ojo praised her son-in-law for being a family-oriented man, as she spilled on how they were preparing for the wedding.
