Nollywood box office queen Funke Akindele Bello has broken another record in Nigerian film industry.
The fantastic actress has beaten her own records for highest-grossing film at the Nigeria box office.
A post shared by Film One revealed that Funke Akindele’s latest movie, Battle on Buka Street, had broken the record of her 2020 released film, Omo Ghetto The Saga.
Battle on Buka Street has netted 640 million naira at the box office, beating Omo Ghetto the Saga of 636 million naira.
Filmone on Instagram noted that the only competition the actress had was with herself.

Funke Akindele looses mother
Kemi Filani reported that Funke Akindele had lost her mother.
The news was shared by her sister, Olubunmi Akindele, who disclosed that they lost their mother on the 7th of February.
“It is with heavy hearts, but in total submission to God Almighty, that the ADEBANJO and AKINDELE families announce the passing of their daughter, mother, grandmother and sister. DR. R B ADEBANJO-Akindele, which occurred on Tuesday, 07 February 2023.
May her gentle soul begin its rest eternal in peace. Amen. Obsequies in honour of her passing shall be announced in due course.
