Veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo Kanayo has given his junior colleague, Yul Edochie his flowers.
Taking to his Instagram page, he shared a clip of him with the actor on the set of his movie, as he hailed him. Kanayo stated that whether one likes Yul or not, one can’t take away the fact that he is a great performer who knows how to use his voice and body to express his artistic mien and candor.

Also sharing a photo of him and Kanayo on his Instagram page, Yul expressed how honored he was to work with him as he prayed for long life and blessings on the veteran.

In 2021, Yul Edochie called out Kanayo for cutting off his face from a video with singer Flavour featuring them as he expressed his utmost disappointment to the man he had always loved and respected.
Upon realizing his mistakes, KOK uploaded a newer version, this time showing Yul’s face to ease the tension between them. This made Yul to tender a public apology to him for the public outburst.
Ever since his second marriage to his junior colleague, Judy Austin, Yul lost the admiration and support of many, and this has led him to lose endorsement deals and get a backlist from the movie projects. Despite the scandal, many are still working for him.
During his birthday in January, his female colleague, Lizzy Gold, paid tribute to him, revealing the one thing she loves about Yul, which is his passion for his work. She stated that her brand wouldn’t exist without him, nor can her brand name in Nollywood be written without Yul’s name being mentioned.
Last year, Yul revealed one of the greatest lessons he learned from his father, Pete Edochie in his career. The father of five recounted how his father gave him the biggest advice by telling him to return to acting and learn more before becoming a director.
According to Yul, he had directed his first movie, which his father found impressive, but stated that it wasn’t his best. He directed his father once again and he blew him away with his artistic prowess and finally gave him his accolades.
