Desola Afod, the wife of Yoruba Nollywood actor Kunle Afod, has stirred reactions with her grand respect for Fuji singer Malaika.
The celebrity wife, as she is fondly known on Instagram, celebrated her 42nd birthday a few days back, and to mark her day, her actor husband, Kunle Afod, threw her a birthday party in Ikeja, Lagos. The best part of the party was when Malaika stormed the event to honour her.
In a video she posted to her Instagram page, Desola was seen kneeling as the legendary singer arrived at the event. In other clips, she was seen dancing with the Fuji singer.
It is not surprising to see Malaika honour the actor’s wife as fans of the celebrity wife know she is a die-hard fan of the singer.

In December last year, Desola opened up on life as a celebrity wife. The movie star, during her husband’s 50th birthday, admitted that her marriage to him hasn’t been easy. However, she has vowed never to divorce her husband and the father of her kids and to endure whatever comes her way.
In January, Desola was tagged as ‘a woman with low self-esteem’ over her promise never to leave her husband, even if he cheats on her. She noted how leaving her husband over infidelity wouldn’t guarantee that the next man she would meet would stay faithful to her.
Last year, the couple’s marriage was almost at the edge of rock after Desola hinted at marital trouble. She had shared several cryptic posts, stating that manipulation is when you are being blamed for your reaction to their disrespect. In another, she dished out advice on how to be good enough to forgive someone. However, one shouldn’t be stup!d enough to trust them again.
