Nollywood actor, Kunle Remi has hailed his colleague, Deyemi Okanlawon for abandoning his yearly ritual as he marks birthday today.
Taking to his Instagram page, Deyemi revealed that, unlike his previous birthdays, he didn’t do any photoshoots this year. He stated that all he wants from his fans and followers is for them to share his post of prayers on their story and tag him.
Appreciating them in advance for it, he said a word of prayer for his family members.
“Heavenly Father I pray for Deyemi Okanlawon & His family. Lord lead them in the path of righteousness, shower your blessings upon their endeavor, and grant them strength in times of need. Fill their lives with love, joy, and peace”.
No photo shoot this year… all I ask is that you please share this on your story and, if you choose to, you may tag me. I pray that all our dreams come true and we live out our purpose Thank you”.
Taking to his comment section, Kunle Remi tackled him as he noted how Deyemi would catch them unaware by releasing the photos when they were not expecting.
He however praised him for maturing as he admonished him to do his things, in his own way.

Weeks back, Deyemi Okanlawon had expressed gratitude to his friends, Adesua Etomi and Kunle Remi, after waking up to a huge alert from them, which had left him utterly speechless. Sharing a screenshot of the credit alert, Deyemi noted how the wife of Banky W was about to make him cry with her sweet gesture.
He stated that he would rather focus on the fact that he has the best friends and colleagues in the world.
Recently, Deyemi paid tribute to veteran, Kunle Bantefa, as he recounted how he stepped into the world of filming when he was 8/9 years old.
He revealed that his first time on set was for a family commercial which had veteran actress, Sola Sobowale playing the role of his mother and his brother, Detola Okanlawon playing his brother although he ended up disgracing him with his tears as he couldn’t get his lines.
