Nollywood actress Laide Bakare and her daughter, Simi, undoubtedly had one of the best weeks of their lives as they met with award-winning music star Davido.
Laide, who was appointed as a Special Adviser to Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, who is Davido’s uncle, was at the burial ceremony of the mother of the Chief of Staff. Davido, also in attendance, took time out to take photos with the movie star and her teenage daughter.
Laide, undoubtedly overjoyed, shared photos on her Instagram page, leaving her fans talking.

In February of this year, Laide bagged an appointment as the Senior Special Assistant to the Osun State Governor On Entertainment, Art, Culture, and Tourism.
Speaking out, Laide announced that it was a new dawn for her as the appointment had kick-started her journey into politics. Calling herself honourable, she appreciated the Governor for trusting her and allowing her to serve as she pledged to the people of Osun State.
