Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare has spoken out following her recent appointment with the Osun State government.
Kemi Filani reported on Thursday night that Laide Bakare was appointed as the Senior Special Assistant to the Osun State Governor On Entertainment, Art, Culture, and Tourism.
Photos and video that made rounds showed the movie star signing the appointment letter with Governor Adeleke beside her.
Now taking to her Instagram page, Laide announced that it is a new dawn for her as the appointment has kick-started her journey into politics.
Calling herself honorable, she appreciated her boss, Governor Adeleke for trusting her and allowing her to serve. Making a pledge, she promised to deliver her best as she prayed for her creator to empower me.

Sometimes back, a faceless blogger spilled some dirty secrets about Laide Bakare’s alleged infidelity to her former husband while also unveiling the faces of her supposed numerous lovers.
The actress, however, called out her ex-husbands, Alhaji Mutairu Atanda Orilowo and Olumide Okufulure for being deadbeat fathers.
The mother of three who had been married twice and shares two kids – two boys with her second husband and a daughter with her first husband shaded them for being deadbeat, as she claimed they wanted her to suffer and for her life to be destroyed but God didn’t allow it.
