Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare has reacted to the outpour of love she received following her recent appointment with the Osun State government.
Kemi Filani reported on Thursday that Laide Bakare was appointed as the Senior Special Assistant to the Osun State Governor On Entertainment, Art, Culture, and Tourism.
Photos and video that made rounds showed the movie star signing the appointment letter with Governor Adeleke beside her.
Speaking out, Laide announced that it was a new dawn for her as the appointment has kick-started her journey into politics.
Calling herself honorable, she appreciated her boss, Governor Adeleke for trusting her and allowing her to serve. Making a pledge, she promised to deliver her best as she prayed for her creator to empower me.
Many of her colleagues flooded her comment section with congratulatory messages. The likes of Femi Adebayo, Ibrahim Chatta, Yomi Fabiyi, Foluke Daramola, MC Oluomo, Bimbo Oshin, Funke Etti, Fausat Balogun, and more rejoiced with her.
Now taking to her Instagram page, Laide appreciated them for the well wishes as she expressed how grateful she is.
She revealed that her book is already available on platforms as she urged her fans to read her true life story.
