Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has recounted one of her challenging moments filming her latest Cinema movie, Thinline.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, she revealed that she woke up one morning on set and her eyes were swollen, and she couldn’t film. She said the pain was excruciating and she had to be hospitalized. According to her, the doctor said she had a severe infection.
Mercy stated that it has been an experience for her on this journey as there have been a lot of challenges while filming the movie, but she gives God the glory. Mercy stressed that the movie took a lot of pain, blood, and sweat.
“Throwback to the set of THINLINE. I woke up one morning on set, and my eyes were like this! We couldn’t film; we had to break set, and the pain that came with this was excruciating. I was hospitalized, in fact, it was a whole lot of challenges! Doctors said it was a severe infection. It was a whole lot! A whole lot!!!!
It’s been an experience on this journey with THINLINE, a whole lot of challenges, a whole lot, but in all, I still GIVE GOD THE GLORY.
In all these i am still standing and will keep pushing.
Someone actually said to me that Aunty Mercy all these challenges is it in anyway related to the Story you told in THINLINE and i said i don’t think so oh !

The swollen eyes wasn’t the only thing Mercy Aigbe suffered from. Two weeks back, Mercy revealed that she had lost her Lagos mansion to a fire incident. The movie star shared a video of the aftermath of her property, as she expressed how devastated she was.
Speaking out, Mercy responded generally to everyone who had reached out to her, as she noted how her phone had been buzzing with calls, messages, and prayers. An overwhelmed Aigbe expressed how each message, support, and prayer meant for her, praying evil will not befall her well-wishers.
