Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson has shared her struggles with parenting four kids during the holidays.
Taking to her Instagram page to share a light-hearted video of herself and her kids, Mercy lamented how exhausting the break has been. She revealed that she has shouted at them several times. Praying for the holiday to end, she questioned how other mums are faring.
“Mom and more.
I don shout tire. Chai! Moms, how una dey? Make this holiday do finish oo”.
This isn’t the first time, Mercy is venting over being a mother. Months back, she shared one of the challenges she was facing as a mother to a teenager. The talented actress said her daughter said she was killing her social life and didn’t want to do videos with her again.
In 2022, the Edo State politician’s wife had been left displeased with her kids’ attitudes while on their trip to the US. At the airport, Mercy asked her kids to carry their bags, and they refused. Lamenting, the movie star narrated how they complained about how heavy the bags were.
Similarly, filmmaker Mary Njoku had revealed that she was yet to figure out how to parent her three kids. Njoku claimed that she couldn’t sleep as she pondered how her mother was able to raise eight kids and stayed sane. Meanwhile, she was finding it difficult and already losing it with just three kids.
In another post, Mary revealed that atimes she feels she is nailing parenting, and the next, she wonders how they got there. The mother of three described parenting as a real jungle as she noted how one has to expect the unexpected. Mary further stated that the love a mother has for her child has to be agape as she lamented over how her kids are testing her patience.
