Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson Okojie has raised eyebrows for congratulatory Regina Daniels.
Taking to her Instagram page, Mercy shared photos of the actress at the National Assembly with the wives of Nigerian senators as they paid respect and honor to the Ubah family. In her caption, Mercy congratulated Regina as she prayed for many more wins for her.
Though she didn’t reveal what she was congratulating her for, she called Regina ‘Her Excellency’.

Regina Daniels replied expressing love for the movie star.
“My queen!!! Mummy I love you”.
Mercy Johnson responded with, “Love you loads”.
Taking to her comment section, many questioned what Mercy was congratulating Regina for.

Mercy Johnson and Regina Daniels have been thick as thieves for a long time now. Their relationship has transcended beyond the movie screen, with both actresses building a solid relationship outside movie sets.
Recall that Mercy Johnson and Regina once fell out allegedly over Regina Daniels’ marriage. According to our sources, Mercy allegedly tried to advise her to hold on a bit and build her career more before moving on to start a family as she was still a teenager. The advice reportedly didn’t go down well with the Delta-born actress who became angry at Mercy and decided to withdraw a little bit as she said she LOVED him and couldn’t wait.
However, the two reconciled in 2022, and since then, they have been pouring love on each other.
When Mercy Johnson turned 40 in August, Regina had described her as a rare gem, a quintessential woman of substance, value, and greatness. She noted how her whole existence speaks greatness and vowed to continue looking up to her because she is an inspiration and worthy of emulation.
Reciprocating the love in October when Regina turned a new year, Mercy stated that Regina was her child as she gushed over her, citing that she was her source of pride and prayed for her.
In one of Johnson’s recent movies, Regina got to wear her wedding dress for her role, and the older actress was elated about it. An emotional Mercy gushes over how her daughter was wearing her gown and still slaying in it.
Back in June, Regina had described what it feels like filming with Mercy Johnson, as she shared photos of her and the actor on a movie set. Regina stated that her joy when filming with the mother of four, who she calls her Number One, is always priceless.
