Omowunmi, the wife of the Late singer Mohbad, has launched her first business, a couture hairline, a year after his demise.
In an emotional post on the brand’s official page, Omowunmi revealed that she never imagined she would be here sharing this journey with her fans. She described the last year since her husband’s death as a whirlwind, as she stepped into the roles of both Mom and Dad for Liam while figuring out how to move forward.
She disclosed that she had many sleepless nights wondering how to keep going, but through it all, the love, encouragement, and support from fans kept her going. Now, she is excited to introduce her Couture hair, which is a labor of love born from resilience and passion.
Wunmi stated that her first collection, The Liam Luxe, named after her son, was inspired by the strength they have built together.

In September, Omowumi marked the one-year remembrance of her husband. In an emotional tribute, she described his death as an unbearable pain, as she expressed how much she missed him and how he left her and their son, Liam, in this cold world. She added that since his death, he had been so hard and she doesn’t know how to survive, but it also shaped her life.
When Omowunmi turned a year older in April, she made a special request to Nigerians, urging them to celebrate her husband on her birthday, rather than her. She noted how this was the first time in many years, she would be celebrating her birthday without him.
