Social media users are divided over the news of music star Davido’s manager engaging his girlfriend, Leona Adesanya.
In a video trending online, Asa was captured popping the question to a surprised Leona on Friday, September 13th, and she said yes. The couple-to-be blushed in their black outfits as family and friends celebrated with them, including his boss, Davido,, and the 30BG crew.
Following the news, some social media users noted how he never proposed to DJ Cuppy who he dated for a year or two but swiftly engaged his new girlfriend.

Recall that DJ Cuppy was in a relationship with Asa in 2018, the two went public in January with their affair. Asa had revealed how he met DJ Cuppy in an Instagram Q&A, where he claimed his best friend had linked the two of them together some years ago. Cuppy, on her part, had described him as a special person. Unfortunately, like many celebrities’ relationships, they didn’t last long as they parted ways in 2020.
Since their breakup, Cuppy has gone in other relationships. Her most recent was her failed engagement to British boxer Ryan Taylor in 2022. Unfortunately, the relationship didn’t last a year as the lovebirds called off their engagement over undisclosed reasons. Her ex,had revealed why he dumped her, stating that his exes are shit drivers, a statement which didn’t sit well with Cuppy, and she hit back at him.
