Social media users are currently reacting to Legendary actor, Pete Edochie’s latest interview on his son, Yul Edochie’s marital crisis.
Kemi Filani reported minutes ago that the veteran had finally broken his silence on Yul Edochie’s marital issues which have been lingering over social media for a while now.
In a recent chat with Chude Jideonwo, Pete Edochie while addressing the issue in Igbo parables said “Since Yul has decided to bring in a foreign and infested woman into the family, he has invited all the lows, backwardness, pain, insults and so on in this life
He who goes to the farm and gets ants-infested firewoods (amongst all the good firewoods in the farm) shouldn’t be surprised when Lizards start paying him a visit (like lizards disturbing nah).
Taking to the comment section, while many sympathized with the veteran, others lambasted him for always speaking in parables, hence, why his son turned out a different way.

May Edochie files for divorce from Yul Edochie
Kemi Filani reported last month that May Edochie had begun divorce proceedings from Yul.
According to Linda Ikeji’s blog, May has moved to dissolve their 18-year marriage.
The now mother of three and her lawyer reportedly visited a court on Monday, July 11th, to submit a petition against Yul.
The reports also claimed that Yul has refused the petition, which had caused a delay in the filing of the proceedings.
Adding to it, Instagram blogger, Gistlover alleged that the court granted full custody of their three kids to May Edochie and also granted her full custody of their mansion. The court reportedly warned the actor never to go near the mansion to disturb his first wife.
May Edochie denies Yul Edochie access to their former matrimonial home
Aside from filing a divorce petition from Yul, May had also filed for restraining order denying him access to their former matrimonial home.
May Edochie, who is being represented by Femi Falana and Eculaw group, shared an update on the couple’s marital crisis noting that Judy and Yul are aware of the lawsuit, having received copies of the suit papers by email.
The mother of three has filed for an order of court restraining Yul from accessing the former matrimonial home. The entrepreneur cited safety concerns and alleged that the movie star has been erratic, irrational, aggressive, and increasingly threatening.
She claimed that Yul acts like he is “under some influence, the full extent or scope of which we are yet to ascertain”.
May recalled how Yul was stopped from accessing their home last week by security officials who told him that henceforth all issues involving his marriage to her and dealings in that regard are subjudice. The mother of three, who lost her son a few months back has taken measures to protect herself and her children.
Yul has now been told to consult his lawyer, when and if he hires one, and be guided by such a lawyer.
