Veteran Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwo has penned an appreciation note to Nollywood following the funeral of Junior Pope.
Sharing a clip from the event, she noted how many gathered to pay their last respect to the late actor. Patience appreciated the Actors Guild of Nigeria and all actors/actresses and crew members who came out to mourn him.
Appreciating them, Patience expressed love for them as she prayed for God to continue to console and strengthen his family.

Kemi Filani reported that Junior Pope, who lost his life after drowning at Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a movie set, was laid to rest amidst years in his hometown in Ukehe, Enugu State.
His friends, families, colleagues, fans and loved ones all gathered at the church for his funeral service. The likes of Patience Ozokwo, E-Money and his brother KCee, Ruby Ojiakor, Destiny Etiko, Uchenna Nnanaa, Queen Wokoma, Benson Okonkwo, Zubby Michael, Chinwe Owoh and more were at his funeral.
Following his burial, many had taken to social media to bid him farewell. Rita Edochie noted how it was over as she promised not to cry again. She stated that he will forever live, and his beautiful memories will forever remain green in their hearts.
Empress Njamah revealed that his death had been very difficult for her; hence, she couldn’t put up a post about him.
Empress further disclosed that the last few days have been traumatising for her. She noted how Junior Pope and her late friend, Ada Ameh, were both fun to be with and full of life, yet death took them away.
Recall that when the news of his death broke out, Patience Ozokwo had expressed her sadness over his untimely passing.
