Big Brother Naija’s former housemate, Pere Egbi, has reacted to the news of Nigeria’s former president, Muhammadu Buhari’s demise.
Kemi Filani reported on Sunday that the former president had passed away in London at the age of 82.
In a series of tweets, Pere declared Sunday a sad day for Nigeria and Nigerians as he prays for God to grant his family the fortitude to bear the great loss. He noted how Buhari led Nigeria to the best of his ability, and though he wasn’t a perfect man or leader, he gave his country his best.
“This is a sad day for Nigeria and Nigerians. May God grant your family the fortitude to bear this great Loss. You led Nigeria to the best of your ability. While you weren’t a perfect man or leader (because no man is and no man will ever be), you gave your all to the country you”.
Addressing those rejoicing over his demise, he noted how when one dies, they are wiped off the earth, and nothing else matters to those they leave behind. He stated that this is why it is useless to celebrate and be happy over the death of anyone, regardless of how they made them feel or how they lived their lives.
“One thing about death, when it comes, you are wiped clean off the earth. Nothing else will matter to those you left behind. Whether love or hate or whatever. You’re gone, you’re gone. That’s why it’s USELESS to celebrate and be happy over the death of anyone, regardless of how
They made you feel or how they lived their life. They are now NO MORE. They are now HISTORY. They have now entered into eternity and are now being questioned by THE MOST HIGH. So you that is wanting to celebrate the death of PMB, what exactly is your gain? Nothing!”.

Last year, during Davido’s custody battle with his ex, Sophia Momodu, he stated that no child should be denied knowing and spending time with and being a part of their father’s life. He added that not being cool with their father isn’t the child’s fault, and as such, the child shouldn’t be denied access to their father.
Also, last year, filmmaker, Etinosa Idemudia had cried out over being owed by a BBN Naija graduate, who she thought was rich.
In a follow-up post, she revealed the BBNaija star’s identity as Pere and revealed that she had gotten the money and that the money was paid in full. Sending a message to Pere, she told him that she isn’t his mate in the industry as she gave him an advice.
