Big Brother Naija’s former housemate, Pere Egbi, has shared his two cents on his colleagues, Isabella and Kayikunmi.
The season 10 housemates are currently trending online over their sexual escapades in the house.
During a live broadcast, Isabella was filmed in an intimate encounter with fellow housemate, Kayikunmi. The actress was captured allowing Kayikunmi to kiss her and fondle her body.
The pair later withdrew to the bedroom, where Kayikunmi was shown on camera briefly sucking Isabella’s boobs, first through her clothing and then after she lifted her top.
The moment sparked widespread criticism, especially since Isabella is a single mother of a teenager.
Weighing in on it, via the micro-blogging platform Twitter, now known as X, Pere said Nigerians aren’t ready for reality TV.
“I said it before, I’d say it again, Nigerians think they’re ready for reality TV; truth is THEY’RE NOT”.
He further said that Nigerians are too emotional and judgmental. He noted how they are fond of judging wrongly and slut shaming people.
“Too emotional, too judgmental. Just anyhow people. Na una wan vote winner? When you’re all judging wrongly and slutshaming a woman for showing her boobs on a show that’s rated 18+ on national television? Mtchewww”.
When the news of Buhari’s death made rounds, Pere declared it a sad day for Nigeria and Nigerians. He prayed for God to grant his family the fortitude to bear the great loss. He noted how Buhari led Nigeria to the best of his ability, and though he wasn’t a perfect man or leader, he gave his country his best.
Addressing those rejoicing over his demise, in a follow-up post, he noted how when one dies, they are wiped off the earth, and nothing else matters to those they leave behind. He stated that this is why it is useless to celebrate and be happy over the death of anyone, regardless of how they made them feel or how they lived their lives.
Similarly, when Sharon Ooja’s husband made headlines over this past lifestyle, Pere made it known that Ugo was one of his cousins’ friends and had only been married once. He noted how blogs are always focused on the negative things they carry and don’t care about authenticity.
Last year, during Davido’s custody battle with his ex, Sophia Momodu, he stated that no child should be denied knowing and spending time with and being a part of their father’s life. He added that not being cool with their father isn’t the child’s fault, and as such, the child shouldn’t be denied access to their father.
