Nigerian music star and one-half of the famous music group Psquare, Peter Okoye, has announced the end of their band.
He made this known as he responded to a tweep, who stated that there will be nothing like Psquare forever, as there is time for everything.
“There will be nothing like Psquare forever.
There’s time for everything”.
Concurring with him, Peter made it known that there is no Psquare anymore; he is his own Square. He said that Jude Okoye and Paul Okoye are the new Psquare and urged Nigerians to manage them.
“Exactly! Judeboy & Rudeboy, that’s the new JPsquare make una manage them. It’s their time. I dey on my own dey run my own race. I am my own Square”.

This came after Jude had thrown shots at Peter Okoye, Cynthia Morgan and others, for being greedy. He noted how they never complained afterwards but rather bragged about their newfound freedom and making it all on their own. Now that they have fallen off the wagon and become broke, rather than accept responsibility and accountability, they are pointing fingers at him.
Responding to him, Peter said that because he is older doesn’t mean they deserve respect. He that Jude’s calling him broke or wishing he were broke has been his wish, and made it known that Jude wasn’t shouldering him.
Months back, Peter threw a subtle shade at his family as he sent a message to the general public, stating that one shouldn’t allow family to be the reason they’re drowning in silence. He noted how he did for over 20 years, and it cost me everything. Peter noted how love doesn’t manipulate, loyalty doesn’t betray, and family doesn’t steal from you.
Recall that in 2023, Psquare had fallen out again because of the joint funds being diverted by their elder brother, Jude Okoye.
Peter, noted how Paul, rather than joining forces with him to reclaim their number one spot in the music industry, chose to team up with their elder brother, Jude, to marginalise and humiliate him.
