Nollywood actress and baby mama of music star Portable Omobolarinde Akinyanju, better known as Ashabi, has created a stir with her grand entrance to her movie premiere.
On Sunday, Ashabi held the premiere of her new movie, The Deputy, which had her friends and supporters in attendance.
A clip from the event is making rounds online, which captured the moment Ashabi walked into the venue with female bounders. Ashabi channelled her inner billionaire style as he held a walking stick and majestically walked into the venue with everyone cheering her.
The video has caused a stir online as many noted how her husband is rotting in Kwara police.
Kemi Filani reported on Monday that the Kwara State police had arrested Portable over alleged criminal defamation against Fuji singer Saheed Osupa. He was accused of threat to life, incitement, character assassination, criminal defamation and conduct likely to cause a breach of peace and the use of abusive and insulting words.
The singer was remanded in a correctional facility after failing to meet bail conditions of N1 million and two sureties, one of whom must be the Chairman of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN). His case has been adjourned to April 30, 2025.

We wonder what Portable thinks of Ashabi attending her movie premiere while he rots in police detention.
In February, when Portable was arrested by Ogun State government for conspiracy, serious assault, armed breach of public peace and attempted murder, Ashabi revealed that she was having sleepless nights and headaches. She shared a video of crying as she called on God to intervene.

The relationship between Portable and Ashabi has been tumultuous over the past two years, since they went public with their love amid the singer’s marriage, however, the lovebirds continue to settle their fights and stick together.
Last month Portable had dragged her for constantly competing with his wife and causing trouble for them. He noted how women are enemies of themselves.
