Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has caused a stir online as he cut ties with his only daughter, Danielle Edochie.
Ever since the actor’s marriage to his junior colleague, Judy Austin, his marriage to May Edochie has been on the rocks, and the actor seems to have distanced himself from his children.
Kemi Filani noticed that the actor has unfollowed Danielle, his first child and only daughter on Instagram and has stopped commenting on her Instagram posts.

Last year, she had yanked off her father’s name from her profile on social media. Danielle, who proudly used her father’s name, Danielle Yul Edochie, on her social media profiles had edited her name to be Danielle Diana Dubem.
Despite the public embarrassment, the actor never ceases to praise his daughter. On her birthday, he wrote a sweet message to her, letting her know how dear she was to him. In another post, he called her the leader of the Yul Edochie squad and rained prayers on her.
Back in April, he had eulogized Danielle, hailing her as he called her the next Superstar in Nigeria. The actor went on to praise her for her beauty, brain, and swag as he noted how she was a pure Yul-Edochie blood because of her stubbornness.
In other news, Danielle had slammed those offering her unsolicited advice, revealing that the one thing she hates is when people try giving her advice that she didn’t ask for. Questioning if she asked for one, it described their action as unsolicited and annoying.
