Religious critics have taken to the comment section of gospel singer, Rejoice Iwueze to tackle her over the birth of her first child.
The former Destiny Kids’ star, who got married in November, announced the birth of her child hours ago.
The gospel singer made the good news known on her Instagram page on Sunday, with photos from her maternity shoot.
She revealed that she and her husband have leveled up from being a couple to being parents.
Welcoming her new bundle of joy into the world, Destiny asserted that God cannot be trusted. The new mum didn’t, however, disclose the sex of her child.
Two religious critics took to her comment section to drag her for welcoming a child barely a year after getting married.
The religious critics who were ignorant of her wedding date, thought the gospel singer was already pregnant, before tying the knot.

One User wrote, “This story no clear. You were a month pregnant before your wedding. Congrats to you Sha”.
However, many defended the gospel singer as they noted how it’s nearly 10 months since she got married.

Kemi Filani reported in September 2022 that the former member of the gospel music group had announced her engagement to Oladapo Temitayo Samuel.
The ‘Joy Joy Joy’ singer shared the good news in an Instagram post, where she also posted her proposal photos.
Two months after being engaged, the younger sister of Favour Iwueze tied the knot traditionally.
In one of the clips posted on her Instagram story, Rejoice was weeping as she knelt before her father.
As with the Igbo tradition, Rejoice was seen kneeling before her father, as he took a can of malt (which many use to replace palm wine) to give to her husband.
Her traditional wedding was followed by her white wedding and while sharing photos from the ceremony, Rejoice Iwueze expressed pride in calling him her husband.
Rejoice Iwueze announces new chapter
Before walking down the aisle, the then-bride-to-be took to Instagram to announce her new chapter as a married woman.
Exuding happiness, Rejoice ushered herself into her new phase, new level, and new chapter.
She revealed that the next level was bubbling in her heart and she was super excited she was doing it with him.
