Music star Davido’s first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, has shared a sweet conversation with her daughter, Imade Adeleke.
In a video on her Snapchat page, the mother of one was styling her daughter’s hair as she spoke on some of the life lessons she gives to her mini-me.
The video captured Sophia asking Imade some honest questions about what she would do when she finds her classmates in some situations, and the singer’s daughter have an intellectual response.
Sophia said that when they can’t change anything about a person in 2 minutes, they don’t talk about it. She noted how it isn’t everything one sees, one should talk about as she further noted how she tells her daughter that everytime.
Sophia asked: If someone in your class comes to school in a rumbled cloth, what would you say?
Imade responded: I wouldn’t say anything because they can’t change that about themselves in two minutes. They will be self-conscious and hurt.
Sophia: What if someone comes to class and their teeth are yellow?
Imade: They can’t change that about themselves in 2 minutes, and you can hurt their feelings, making them self-conscious.
Sophia: What would you say if someone ate something during lunch and it got stuck in their teeth?
Imade: I will tell them they have something stuck in their teeth because it’s something they can change in 2 minutes.
Sophia further said, “If a person can’t change anything about themselves in 2 minutes, we don’t talk about it. because it isn’t everything that one says that one speaks about. You know that, right? I tell you that all the time. When it comes to me and you, we tell any and everything. “
Last week, Sophia lashed out at a Snapchat user who called her daughter insecure over her lack of smile. The fashion connoisseur reminded the fan that her daughter is Imade Adeleke and has more confidence than many critics. She told the fan to back off with his fake comments and projections, noting that she prefers posting on her private snap because of the negativity.
A month back, Sophia had expressed how eager she was for their daughter to grow up. The niece of Dele Momodu shared some gorgeous photos of herself in a pink dress as she stated that she can’t wait till her daughter is old enough to know that she is a baddie.
Late last year, the mother of one, while reflecting on her and Imade’s trip to Disneyland, shaded Davido as she stated that she fulfilled a promise that was intentionally broken to a child. She implied that Davido broke his promise to take Imade on a trip to Disneyland. Bragging, Sophia indirectly stated that nobody can break a promise to her child.
Sophia is currently in a bitter custody battle with her famous baby daddy. The former lovebirds fell out in 2022 after Davido went public with his now wife, Chioma.
In June, Davido filed a lawsuit, demanding joint custody of Imade as he claimed Sophia was denying him access to her and was extorting money from him, which she denied. A week later, she had opposed his joint custody battle, citing the death of his son, among others, as reasons the singer is unfit to raise their daughter on his own.
