Some netizens are praising Sophia Momodu, the babymama of award-winning music star, Davido for being a super mom as she goes all out for her daughter, Imade’s 9th birthday.
Kemi Filani reported on Tuesday, May 14th that Imade, the first child of Davido and Sophia turned 9 and to celebrate her new age, Sophia Momodu during the weekend threw a pink themed bash for her.
Though this year’s birthday isn’t like her previous extravagant parties, Sophia Momodu no doubt did her best to make her only child happy despite her drama with Davido.
She took to her Snapchat page to share clips from the low-key bash which had Tiwa Sãvage’s son, who is bestie with Imade, in attendance.
Reacting to it, some netizens praised Sophia Momodu for prioritizing her daughter’s happiness first amid her co-parenting struggle.

On her birthday, Sophia noted how 9 years ago, God smiled at her and since then, it has been blessings ever since. Describing her as the love of her life, she wished her a happy birthday.
Surprisingly, Davido, had made a promise to see her soon and expressed love for her.
Recall that things turned sour between Davido and Sophia after the singer publicly declared love for his now wife, Chioma Rowland, and reunited with her. This left Sophia infuriated and she shared a post about a cat not taking rubbish from a dog.
She later went on an extensive rant hinting that all wasn’t well between her and Davido as co-parents and indirectly accused him of financially abusing her.
She reignited their co-parenting drama in December, last year after she shared a screenshot of an emotional chat between her daughter and her grandmother, where she expressed heartbreak over her brother, Ifeanyi’s death, and her father’s neglect, which had caused her profound sadness.
The drama between them led to a fallout between Davido and his colleague and friend, Tiwa Sav@ge, as her baby daddy, Tee Billz dragged Davido for disrespecting them and accused him of being a deadbeat father and vindicated Sophia.
Tiwa had even slammed Davido with a Threat to Life letter, alleging that on several occasions, he had bullied her. Sophia had also slammed him with a cease and desist letter, detailing an incident of online bullying and harassment.
