Award-winning Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems, has bagged another Grammy award.
The Afrobeat singer won the Best African Music Performance category for her popular song, Love Me Jeje, at the 67th Grammy Awards, which was held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 2nd, 2025.
The talented singer beat her colleagues, Yemi Alade ‘Tomorrow,’ Asake MMS, Chris Brown Sensational, and Burna Boy Higher to clinch the award.
Tems had received three nominations at this year’s Grammys, bringing her career nomination to a total of eight.
Her big win at this year’s Grammys makes it her second Grammy win as in 2023, she won the Best Melodic Rap Performance category for her contribution to the hit song, ‘Wait for U’, with Future and Drake.

Last week, rapper and singer Tochukwu Odumodublvck made a bombshell revelation about Tems and Ayra Starr. In an interview, he revealed that the reason Tems and Ayra Starr wear big clothes to the studio is because everyone wants to sleep with them. He noted how Tems just wants to make a bit and still has to worry about how to make the producer not like her. He admonished she and Ayra to hold steadfastly unto God.
