The reality star, who stars in Funke Akindele’s new movie, She Must Be Obeyed, appreciated the actress for giving her the opportunity.
Vee Iye shared a screenshot of the DM she sent to the Box Office King years back, pleading with her to offer her a role in any of her movies.
Surprisingly, Funke replied her and promised to give her a role in one of her movies.
Keeping to her promise, Funke cast her in her new movie, She Must Be Obeyed, which is exclusively on Prime Video and stars other actors like Mike Ezurounye, Nancy Isime, and others.
Appreciating her, she stated that Funke helped her unlock a level of confidence she never knew she had.
