Big Brother Naija ‘Lockdown’ former housemate, Vee Iye has expressed excitement as Afrobeat singer, Davido has confirmed he knows her.
The singer, who has been in the news lately after he denied knowing Phyna, admitted to knowing the reality star after watching one of her movies, She Must Be Obeyed.
The singer, via the micro-blogging platform, after watching the movie, which was produced by Funke Akindele, had expressed his desire to executive produce a film or a series in the near future.
“SHE must be Obeyed on prime. I def wanna executive produce a film or a series in the near future”.
Replying, Vee questioned if Davido knows her tweeting, “So you know me?”.
Surprisingly, Davido replied her, admitting to knowing her and praising her acting skills.
“Lol u killed that role. Keep it up”.
Vee Iye, who couldn’t believe her eyes, stated that she could faint following his recognition.
“I can faint”.
This is coming hours after, Davido created a stir online after denying knowing Level Up winner, Phyna.
The whole drama began after Davido had liked a tweet calling Phyna’s supporters useless.
A Twitter user had stated that there are some particular celebrities fans would stan and he would question, and judge them.
The Twitter user went on to name drop Phyna as one celebrity he can’t fathom why people Stan.
Surprisingly, Davido liked the tweet and this created a stir online with some defending him, while others dragged him.
Reacting to it, Phyna had questioned what she had done to the singer for him to like a negative tweet about her. Unbothered by the negativity, she went on to congratulate Davido and Chioma on the birth of their twins.
Davido reacted to it by apologizing to her, as he made it known that he didn’t know who she was.
Recall that following her debut in Funke Akindele’s latest movie, SHE Must Be Obeyed, Vee Iye penned a deep appreciation post to the actress for giving her the opportunity.
Vee Iye shared a screenshot of the DM she sent to the Box Office King years back, pleading with her to offer her a role in any of her movies.
Surprisingly, Funke replied her and promised to give her a role in one of her movies.
Appreciating her, she stated that Funke helped her unlock a level of confidence she never knew she had.
