Chidimma Adetshina has been offered a spot to represent Nigeria at the upcoming Miss Universe contest, and it has created a huge buzz online, mostly due to the fact that she recently withdrew from the Miss South Africa contest.
BBNaija alum and winner Phyna recently shared her input about the matter, and here’s what she said;
”Just thinking out loud oh I’m in support of chidima o, but this one she now wants to rep us like this….
What will now happen to our own typical Nigerian Queens that have been preparing for it too, Omo i for Advise her to leave pageant first or for this year… then go next tym.”
A netizen countered Phyna’s statement, citing that Chidinma was invited to participate for Miss Universe, and she didn’t invite herself.
Phyna responded by saying that people should learn how to read to understand before they make certain comments.
Agreeable or not, Phyna’s hot take responded in the minds of some Nigerians, with a handful of them supporting her, while others weren’t in support of her statement at all.
