Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola isn’t done airing her grievances at celebrity chef Chef T of Dairy of a Kitchen Lover.
Kemi Filani reported on Thursday that Wumi had called out the popular chef for ignoring her DM while promoting her movie, Queen Lateefah, last year. Wumi stated that she feels the chef doesn’t need anyone again and can grow independently.
Not done, the movie star, in a since-deleted post on her story, stated that opportunists always end up doing the most. The Yoruba actress revealed that she hasn’t seen a reply from Chef T until now.

Despite Chef T’s snub, Wumi made history in the cinema world as she was ranked the second-highest producer of 2024, beating the likes of Odunlade Adekola, Toyin Abraham, Eniola Ajao, and others to achieve this milestone.
Despite it being her first time making movies for the cinema, Wumi earned 57.7 million on its opening weekend. The huge feat made it the highest Nollywood opening weekend for a non-holiday weekend and the highest-ever Nollywood opening weekend by an independent distributor.
Her record breaking feat had won her an award at the box office. The Yoruba actress was awarded the box office champion of 2024 by the National Film and Video Censors Board NFVCB.
In other news, Wumi threw shade at some of her colleagues for rubbishing her efforts. She revealed that someone called her a YouTube star, and yet, some of her colleagues are yet to conquer YouTube and are still floating in the box office world. Questioning if their colleagues knew them before rebranding, she admonished them to run their race and stop looking for Bollywood.
