Nollywood actress, Yetunde Bakare has slammed her colleague, Nkechi Blessing for belittling her.
Kemi Filani reports that Yetunde Bakare had offered a piece of advice to Tonto Dikeh following her son’s birthday drama with ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill.
First praising Tonto for her growth and involvement in politics, Yetunde Bakare, who also is a single mother, avowed that there are certain things one shouldn’t put their child through.
She noted how there is always surrounding her son especially on his birthday.
“I like Tonto’s growth and involvement in politics but as a single mother there are certain things you shouldn’t put your child through. Every year birthday doesn’t have to be dramatic”.
A blog had published Yetunde’s advise to Tonto Dikeh, tagging Yetunde a colleague to Tonto Dikeh.
Reacting to the post, Nkechi Blessing threw a shade at Yetunde Bakare as she questioned Yetunde’s acting career.
Taking to the comment section, Nkechi wrote, “Which colleague”, meaning Yetunde isn’t an actress.
Replying Nkechi Blessing, Yetunde took to her Instagram story to admonish her not to mock others means of survival because she is fortunate.
She noted how she is still hustling to survive and not looking for a rich man to marry or use as financially stability.
“If you’re fortunate don’t mock another person’s means of survival.
Some of Us struggled and we’re still hustling to survive legit not by marrying a rich man or looking for someone to use for financial stability”.
Yetunde Bakare opens up on venturing into business
Recall that Yetunde Bakare of had revealed in an interview that acting alone doesn’t pay her bills.
Speaking in a chat with Kemi Filani News, the Nollywood damsel and mother of one said:
”Acting alone wasn’t paying my bills. As you can see all of my colleagues, they have one business or the other.I had to diversify.I had to try something new. Something that can be giving me money because I have a lot of responsibilities. My son has finished secondary school, he is in University level and all that.So acting alone wasn’t paying the bills anymore”.
