Newly married Nigerian singer and socialite Yhemo Lee has sent a message to his gender on the meaning of true love.
Taking to his Snapchat account, he stated that any girl who loves you shouldn’t be asking you for money, but giving you money. According to him, that’s the definition of true love.
“Any girl wey love you no suppose dey ask you for money. Na she suppose dey give you. That’s love”.
Early this year, Yhemo Lee sent a message to his gender amid the hardship in the country. He admonished them to stay away from womanizing for now, as he noted how this economy wasn’t friendly for womanizers.
Some months back, Yoruba actress, Opeyemi Aiyeola had advised those in relationships, telling them not to go into any relationship with just their heart and soul. She admonished them to go with their brain. She stated that it is important not to allow the spirit of jagbajantis to manipulate their brain. She stressed that they should guard their brain with all they got.
Also, Caroline Danjuma had advised her gender to get themselves well-developed and financially secure as she noted how, in Nigeria, a man is always right if he is richer. She further told women to love and protect themselves well enough to know exactly whom and what to let into their space and soul. She added that they shouldn’t rush into anything, so they don’t rush out of it or stay in it while dying in sorrow.
In other news, Toke Makinwa had addressed a wrong narrative about her regarding men and marriage. The divorcee noted how people think she hates men or is a man basher, which is wrong, as she loves marriage and being married. However, the way this generation is set up, we use people and value things, when it should be the other way round. She noted how this generation is moving like everyone is replaceable and we stop investing in people because we all think we can find better.
